how to get a girl to like you after she rejected you?

SO, i like this girl… i asked her out ’bout a week ago, and she said no. and yes i knew her for a while.
she dumped her ex a couple weeks ago, but she didn’t make a big deal out of it…but she likes the new kid so…HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
