Does anyone know the best deal in the UK for short term broadband? I don’t have an internet phone-line and just need internet usage for a few weeks – nothing longer. I don’t want to commit to a long contract as I’ll eventually set up a new deal.

Okay so I met this boy at a party a while back and we got talking over the internet (facebook, skype, phone).

He’s not very wealthy, his mum is divorced and has a boyfriend. He lives in a very rough area and he’s been in trouble with the police many times, although he claims he is trying to start a fresh, new life. He is 17 and I am 15.

He seemed as if he really liked me when we first met, but right after I told him I go to a private all-girls school, he’s become quite rude. When I told him, he was shocked and seemed as if he didn’t want anything to do with me.

He thinks I am the epitome of a private school, rich, stuck-up kid, but I’m not! My family is quite wealthy but I am not that kind of person at all! For example, when I told him that I got a laptop for Christmas from my parents, he said ”Wow. I want a laptop. I want things that I actually have to work for.”. I can’t believe he said that! I worked my ass off for that laptop. My mum told me I could only get it if I got all A’s in my end of term exams which was damn hard work. I also had to earn half the price of the laptop myself which was like 120 quid!

Another time, he was begging me to call him up to talk but my uncle had died that night so I texted him I didn’t want to talk because I was upset about something. He replied ”Oh for gods sake, grow up. You have everything you want in life and don’t even need to work at all. Don’t get upset over shit. People have worse problems than you. You think my life’s perfect?”

Another time, he said he wanted to meet me again. I invited to my house and we could hang in my hot tub. I didn’t mean to show off, it was just an invitation. He said quite aggressively ”Oh sure. Did your parents buy that for you along with that laptop?” and then he muttered ”Spoilt..” under his breath. The hot tub is a family hot tub.. my parents bought it for themselves originally.

One time I was telling him about how I’m so sick of having a tiny single bed because its uncomfortable and he said ”Are you ever grateful of anything you have?” This is so stupid because I have always been grateful for everything. He is a hypocrite because his mother does everything for him and he calls her an idiot and steals from her. My mum cares for me and I am so grateful I wouldn’t dare call her an idiot.

I’m sick of it. I’ve even outright told him that I’m NOT a snob. Just because I’m fortunate in life and so incredibly lucky doesn’t make me stuck-up. What can I do in a situation like this? He’s on the road to quitting drugs, alcohol, aggression and crime and I started off with a lot of respect for him and wanting to help him on this journey but now I’m growing ever more frustrated.

i would assume that poop weighs something so i would think i would weigh at least a tiny bit less after taking a dump. so i weighed my self on my digital scale i assumed i would loose maybe 1/2 a pound maybe slightly less. instead i actually gained a whole pound! Why?

Hi, I’m 14. My kitty chewed up my Mom’s and my own Apple power adapter/charger for our macbook pros. I have no money, and I need to make $80 so I can buy another one. And in the meanwhile, I won’t be able to use my laptop (for school work, etc, which is awful), so I need it fast. I can’t get a job job, and I can’t really go around ASKING people if I can babysit their kids. So any ideas? I’m broke.

I mean yeah I know she is really skinny and stuff but I think that she’s actually pretty ugly and im not just saying that because im like jealous or something because I used to think she was pretty, stupid racist and overally a bad member of society, but still pretty. but then I really looked at her and her nose is really hooked and her eyes look like she’s half asleep or really drugged up or just retarded and she always looks really uncomfortable…..what do you think?

We already have seeing features of computers (like cameras and web cams), and hearing features of computers (like voice recorders or video chat) so what about a computer that could taste or enable you to taste different things. Like food samples. There could be a pad or something on the computer that you could lick to taste a sample of food before you buy it or you could put a sample of food on the computer tab and it could taste the food to tell you if it is worth eating or not or maybe identify the ingredients. Could this be possible to do? What do you think of this idea?
